I interned twice as part of the Tesla Motors vehicle engineering team in Fremont, California. Over the eight months that I spent at Tesla I got the unique opportunity to work together with designers and engineers to develop, model, prototype, and test components for the Model S and Model X. I learned to model components in CATIA, design injection molded plastic parts, perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, design components for manufacturing and assembly, and source machined, cast, and injection molded parts.

One of the parts that I worked on, the front diffuser for the Model X, was featured in Popular Mechanics.
